GroundBooth Software, Inc., its officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively "GBSI") under no circumstances guarantee that the information you provide or submit to GroundBooth.com will remain private and safe. You provide any and all information at your own risk!

GBSI has, however, endeavored to take certain reasonable precautions to limit the possibility that your private information would become compromised. Within our code base, GBSI has implemented anti-hacking defensive measures which help to thrwart unauthorized database attacks and/or queries. Further, sessions expire after a reasonable amount of time of inactivity. Where possible, GBSI has also attempted to reference information within the database using unique IDs that are independent of names and emails. Besides personal information you provide voluntarily to GBSI, our software also automatically records data in the form of cookies to maintain sessions. This information is obfuscated via the browser you're using and stored locally on your machine. Nearly all websites utilize this type of information and technology and often creates little privacy concern to those users. GBSI also collects data related to your visitation of the website up to and including the type of browser you're using, the IP address you're connecting from, and other metric data that is useful for purposes of tracking software development, our users' habits, and imporvements.

GBSI has a business relationship with many sponsorship partners. Our sponsorship partners have advertisements appearing throughout the site. GBSI tracks the number of times these advertisements appear on the site and also who has clicked advertisements, and at what time. We make reports available to our sponsors that includes information on who has clicked one of their ads including the first and last names of those users, and the associated email address. At this time, we do not share more information than that, but we may at some point share other information including what school you attend, what year (status) you are at your school, your other contact information including phone numbers and addresses. We may make this information available to our sponsorship partners at any time without your consent. Should you disagree with this, your sole form of action is to not get an account with GroundBooth.com. If you currently have an account with us, and disagree with these privacy terms, you must contact us as soon as possible so that we may deactivate your account.

GBSI has a business relationship with Google including several of its ad partners. Google provides all the ad content that appears on the website. GBSI is unaware, and incapable of knowing, what data Google captures regarding users of GroundBooth.com. Accordingly, GBSI merely notifies its users of this fact in an attempt to comply with good faith full disclosure of information pertaining to a users data that they might deem private.

GBSI may, if they want to, update the GroundBooth Twitter feed at http://www.twitter.com/GroundBooth/ using information that you have provided including, but not limited to, your first and last name, email address, etc. An example of one instance when we may publish this information is when you sign up for an account.

In the event that you post hateful, inciteful, harmful, offensive or otherwise inappropriate content, GBSI reserves the right to let the individual effected by the content postings know who you are. Additionally, we may make available your contact information to authorities upon demand for good cause shown. This rule applies to, but is not limited to, professor reviews that you might post. Although professor reviews are anonymous, the protection of anonymity is invalidated and voided upon posting such content as listed immediately above. Disclosing this information under these circumstances shall not be alleged by you, or deemed, as a violation of these privacy terms.

These privacy terms do not replace any other terms you are bound to as a member of your school's institution including requirements promulgated in student handbooks, ethics rules, etc. You should consult the appropriate resources at your institution on these matters.

Should you disagree with this privacy policy, your sole form of action and remedy is to immediately stop using the software and notify our staff so that we might deactivate and remove your account from the system.

These privacy terms may change from time to time without notice to you. It is your responsibility, and not GBSI's responsibility, to ensure that you are aware of the privacy terms currently enforce.

Your continued use of this website and software incluiding repeated access to the password protected areas of the website in which a user account is required constitutes your full and unqualified acceptance of these privacy terms and disclosures in their entirety.
